Saint's Restaurant & Catering

Through several iterations of televisions screens and backend UIs, I built a custom digital signage solution that allows us to automatically display daily specials, advertisements and other information to our guests. Through integrating this directly into our operational intelligence and point of sale system, we are tying which items are being and when directly to customer orders to know the efficacy of this technique and using it to drive customer behavior. Over the first 2 years, we've tripled sales for specials and desserts using this system, while offloading much of the repetitive portion of our waitstaff's interactions.

Working our team and the with our top-notch designer, Monique Morin, I have been overseeing a rebrand of our entire business. This includes giving design critiques, deciding what assets to and making decisions around what our digital, apparel and print branding will be.

Most mom & pop restaurants struggle to focus on anything but the day to day. One of my main focuses for Saint's over the past year has been building a centralized place for all of our data to live and be learned from. By harvesting our data; from our digital signage, social media accounts and most importantly sales :& menu data (via the Omnivore API) we are learning about key performers on our menu and our team as well as being able to track the return we're getting for other investments and initiatives. The next big update for this system will integrate with our employee scheduling and performance evaluations to drive team satisfaction and get the best out of our team.
